Essential Peru
This journey invites you to discover the great highlights of southern Peru, in a beautiful balance between Andean landscapes, major archaeological sites and encounters with the country’s living cultures.
After arriving in Lima, you head to Arequipa, the White City, watched over by its volcanoes. The route then continues to the spectacular Colca Canyon, a land of high plateaus, traditional villages and condors. Further south, Lake Titicaca opens a luminous interlude between Llachón, Taquile and Puno, at the heart of a lakeside world deeply shaped by Quechua and Aymara traditions.
The journey then reaches Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire, before exploring the Sacred Valley through Chinchero, Moray, the Maras Salt Pans and Ollantaytambo. The highlight of the circuit is the discovery of Machu Picchu, a city suspended between mountains and tropical forest.
A complete and gradual itinerary, ideal for a first approach to Peru, combining heritage, grandiose landscapes and Andean atmosphere.
